But before we talk about the latest attractions, let’s get to talking about the history of Pigeon Forge first. Why, you ask? Because we said so. Just joking, but really, Pigeon Forge is a historic town that holds deep stories and has become a popular destination escape.  

Over the years, Pigeon Forge not only developed into a city that boasts fun and exciting attractions but still holds a deep history. What once was filled with golden wheat fields and home to the passenger pigeon, is now extinct, these birds contributed to the city’s name. Pigeon Forge slowly started to grow in 1900, bringing a new light to living and creating bigger dreams for the citizens, such as the introduction to the telephone, the city now is home to the famous Queen of Country, Dolly Parton, Dollywood, zorbing down the Smoky Mountains, enchanted realms, & shopping, the city of Pigeon Forge holds something to do for everyone!
